You no longer have the option in the preferences to select what type of disc you want to burn, and there's no burn button displayed on the screen. But, the way you get the software to do it is very different from previous versions (10.x and below). Open iTunes and hit 'File' > 'New' > 'Playlist' to create a new playlist and rename it. Although it isn't that obvious, you can still create audio and MP3 CDs in iTunes 11 in the same way.

Well, thanks to your reply, you got me thinking and I looked at my cd again to find the fix had not worked afterall, so I just began it all over again and the problem is resolved. One great feature of iTunes is that its capable of burning CDs so that you can use iTunes to burn your favorite songs to CD either for backup, sharing with family and friends or play the songs on your CD players or DVD players. After we had converted Apple Music to plain audios, then we could go ahead to learn how to burn a CD from Apple Music in the following methods. Then when I redownloaded it, it appeared to work, but I didn't check my burn to see if it came through complete. I have no clue why I could not download all of the songs I purchased the other day and where that strange message came from. I recreated another playlist of the album, it came through complete, and I burned another CD successfully from there to see if I could recreate the glitch and was unable to. A new window will pop-out which would allow us to choose our preferred speed, disk format for CD burning. Step 3 Select and right click 'the playlist >Burn Playlist to Disc'. I burned a copy of my purchase directly from there. Step 2 Insert a blank CD disc, waiting until the disc is recognized.
I went into my library on my hard drive and the complete album of songs were there. One of the songs was missing, so the workaround I tried apparently did not work the other day, afterall. I checked my disc today to see that all six songs on an album I bought from iTunes actually burned properly. Thank you for your reply, I believe you are correct and I was dealing with some anomaly.
